One of our BugNet collaborators from Germany, Lotte Korell, has an open PhD position available at the Department of Community Ecology at the UFZ in Halle. The potential PhD candidate will experimentally investigate the effects of plant species immigration and climate niches on grassland communities under global change by setting up a seed addition experiment in a really cool Global Change Experimental Facility (GCEF). The GCEF is an experimental platform of the UFZ where future climate is simulated in different agro-ecosystems, including grasslands.
